Hydrogen recovery of refinery gas

Because of more severe environmental regulation for fuel oil, hydrogenation has become a main method for the processes of desulphurization, deoxidation, denitrogenation, demetalization. During the course of refinery, in order to keep enough partial pressure of hydrogen, light hydrocarbon is purged continually. However, large amount of hydrogen lost in the purge gas. Our membranes can recover hydrogen of the purge gas. The recovered hydrogen is recycled to the hydrogenation unit. About 20-30% hydrogen can be saved for the hydrogenation unit.

Refineries often produce low-pressure gas steams containing hydrogen, methane, ethane, and other light hydrocarbon. This gas is typically used as fuel. Recovery of light hydrocarbon is more profitable than used as fuel. Application area:

　　•Purge gas of absorb stabilizer (concentration of C3+ is 3~20%)

　　•Fuel gas of gas-holder (concentration of C3+ is 20~30V%)
